The Cord Zap Pen has a really fine filament tip that performs precision burns on the thickest of threads and knots, making it ideal for putting the finishing touches on knitting and knot work and adding a touch of aesthetics to your project. This cordless tool runs on 2 AA batteries (1.5V), not included with the Cord Zap Pen. To use the Cord Zap Pen, simply hold down the black button on the side to activate the filament tip. You will usually see a slight puff of smoke to indicate that the tip is hot enough to use. Continuing to hold the button, briefly touch the tip to the spot on the thread where you want to cut, melt or burn it. Once you achieve the desired result, wait a few seconds for the thread to cool before touching beads in that area. Place the clear cap back on the filament.

IMPORTANT: Do not store the Cord Zap Pen without the cap on! The tip gets very hot when the button is pressed, keep away from children.
